So, I'm taking a hiatus from Deviantart for the foreseeable near future with maybe a pop into chat now and then. But don't expect it too much. One of my best friends from High School's mom is only going to be with us for a few more days. She's been battling cancer for two years, and she took a fast turn for the worse two days ago. I was at this friends' house every weekend for years, and even after we all graduated from High School, it was somewhere we always came to hang out and play games. So in many ways, she was like a second mother for the entire social/gaming group. Those of us, including my friend, who no longer live in town have all come back to be with her in her final days. So all my time not working is spent being with this friend of mine, and once she gets home from the hospital, his mother for as long as she holds on.
I don't know when my schedule will be back to "normal" and therefore be on chats and doing artwork for fun/clubs with regularity again. It's all touch and go right now as we support each other as well as our friend though this really difficult time. Sorry if that means I drop the ball on some club things. But you know, real life. It can sneak up on you.
